The Propulsion team is responsible for the rocket motor. This includes the fuel composition and ignition system. The team also designs and manages the oxidizer tank, pressure regulation system, and oxidizer tubing. Other responsibilities include the combustion chamber and nozzle. A key part of the work is also ensuring that the motor can withstand the high temperatures and does not damage or melt its own components.
This material should be read to understand the work done by the Propulsion team.
